The false flax oil is certified according to the EU guidelines as a “guaranteed traditional specialty” and is widely used by individuals.

Utilization:

Well-dosed, false flax oil is well suited as a feed. Although still unknown as edible oil, its high content of omega-3 fatty acids has a positive effect on the immune system, cholesterol levels regulation and arthrotic symptoms. Furthermore it also promotes wound healing. In the cosmetics industry, false flax oil is present in soap. In the industry the oil is used for the production of varnishes, paints, lubricants and lamp oil. It can also be used as fuel for airplanes.
