Barley flour
Barley flour is produced from spent grain, a by-product of beer production. Through a mechanical upcycling process, this is transformed into a fine, beige-coloured flour that can be used in the food and animal feed industries.

The product is high in fibre and also provides plant-based protein and minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium and zinc. Due to its low content of carbohydrates and saturated fats, it is suitable for use in nutrition-conscious applications.
Barley flour is used in baked goods, snacks, pasta and convenience foods, and is also used for targeted protein fortification. It is also used in animal feed.
