Citrus fibres
Citrus fibre is a functional dietary fibre ingredient with high swelling capacity – ideal for improving texture and optimising the Nutri-Score in food products.

Citrus fibre is obtained from the solid components of juiced citrus fruits, gently dried and finely ground. It contains both soluble and insoluble dietary fibre – the soluble fraction consists mainly of pectin, which has a prebiotic effect. The fibre is suitable for fibre enrichment, water binding and texture improvement. Depending on the degree of grinding, it can also be used as a substitute for emulsifiers, thickeners and stabilisers.
Typical applications include meat and sausage products, delicatessen products, baked goods, frozen foods, beverages, ice cream and fruit preparations.
