Oat bran
A product made from the outer layers and husks of oats – containing approx. 9% fibre. Suitable for high-fibre applications where a textural effect is desired.

Oat bran is a by-product of oat flake production. It consists of the outer layers and husk fragments of the grain and has a coarse, flaky texture. With its moderate fibre content, it is suitable as a functional ingredient for enriching foods with fibre – for example, in muesli mixes, baked goods or diet products. In addition to its nutritional function, it also adds volume and texture to products.
