Chickpea starch flour
Chickpea starch flour is a pale yellow, finely ground flour with a mild flavour and a starch content of around 54%. It is gluten-free and can be used in a wide variety of sweet and savoury dishes.

The flour is mechanically extracted from hulled chickpeas. With its natural content of iron, calcium and magnesium, as well as a low glycaemic index, it offers nutritional benefits. Its excellent emulsifying properties and water-binding capacity enhance stability and texture – particularly in wet-mix systems.
Typical applications include baked goods such as gluten-free breads, muffins and biscuits, soups requiring thickening, savoury ready meals and protein-enriched snacks. The flour integrates well from a sensory perspective, particularly in recipes with strong flavours.
