Cornflakes

Cornflakes are golden-yellow flakes made from maize. They are produced through a process of cooking and drying, in which maize and other ingredients are cooked, rolled and then toasted.

Cornflakes are primarily a source of carbohydrates and also contain plant-based protein. They can be produced either plain or sweetened and are characterised by their crisp texture.
