Pea fibre
Pea fibre is a plant-based source of dietary fibre derived from the husks of peas – with a total fibre content of approximately 60 to 90 per cent. It is suitable for the targeted fortification of foods.

The fibre is obtained by gently grinding pea hulls. It consists mainly of insoluble dietary fibre and is used to aid digestion and improve the dietary fibre content. In addition to functional benefits such as water-binding and texture improvement, pea fibre is also suitable as a bulking agent in a wide variety of recipes.
Typical uses: soups, sauces, muesli mixes, baked goods, pasta, meat substitutes or plant-based snacks.
