Mechanically concentrated protein from yellow split peas – with a protein content of approximately 55 %. The native, enzymatically active variant is low in allergens, gluten-free and offers functional benefits for heat-treated applications.

(Bio-)Erbsenprotein Konzentrat

The native pea protein concentrate is obtained from European shelling peas using purely mechanical methods – without the use of any chemical processes. It still contains the typical bitter compounds found in peas, which makes it particularly well-suited to cooked, baked or extruded products. The protein is notable for its high iron content and its levels of the amino acids arginine and lysine. It is particularly suitable for applications in functional nutrition – e.g. for sports, dieting or nutrition for the elderly.
