Full-fat wheat germ meal consists of coarsely ground, non-de-oiled wheat germ. It provides natural levels of vegetable protein, unsaturated fatty acids, dietary fibre, vitamins and trace elements. Thanks to its coarser particle structure, the meal helps to add texture and is ideal for applications requiring a structured filling or swelling effect.
Whole wheat germ meal is primarily used in muesli mixes, baked goods, bars and vegetarian products. It is suitable as a functional ingredient for nutrient fortification and for improving texture in high-fibre recipes.
