Pea flour is produced by gently grinding hulled yellow or green peas. It offers a balanced nutritional profile, containing fibre, high levels of vitamin B and very low fat content. The flour is suitable as a functional substitute for wheat flour in baked goods, doughs or stir-fries, and can be used for targeted nutrient fortification. It is gluten-free and suitable for vegan and vegetarian recipes.
