Finely ground flour made from dried sweet chestnuts – naturally gluten-free, with a slightly sweet flavour and ideal for sweet or savoury baked goods.

Chestnut flour is made from the dried and peeled fruits of the sweet chestnut (Castanea sativa). It has a high carbohydrate content – including natural sugars – and therefore has a mildly sweet flavour. The flour is particularly suitable for making sweet pastries, cakes, biscuits or bread mixes. Chestnut flour is also used as a functional grain substitute in vegan and gluten-free cooking.
