Cornflour
Finely ground flour made from golden yellow maize – starchy, gluten-free and versatile for use in both savoury and sweet dishes.

Cornflour is produced by grinding whole maize kernels. It has a distinctive, mildly sweet flavour and a characteristic yellow colour. The flour is rich in starch and contains unsaturated fatty acids as well as minerals such as potassium, iron and magnesium. Typical uses include tortillas, flatbreads, porridges and gluten-free baked goods. Cornflour can also be used as a thickening agent for soups and sauces.
