Chia flour is produced by grinding whole or partially de-oiled chia seeds. It contains valuable omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, as well as high levels of fibre, calcium, potassium, iron, zinc and vitamin B1. Its high antioxidant content ensures natural stability. In addition to its traditional use in gluten-free baked goods, chia flour is suitable as a plant-based egg substitute, thickening agent or ingredient in desserts, smoothies and puddings.
