Chickpea grits
Structured chickpea groats made from hulled chickpeas – with a mild, nutty flavour, high in fibre and versatile for use in savoury dishes.

Chickpea meal is produced by coarsely grinding hulled chickpeas. Its natural colour ranges from pale yellow to beige, and its texture is similar to semolina or coarse grits – depending on the desired degree of grinding. The product provides dietary fibre and complex carbohydrates, and is well suited to applications requiring a firm texture, such as patties, baking mixes, pasta or bars. Its swelling capacity aids processing in plant-based recipes. Available in various grain sizes – e.g. semolina-like or coarser.
