Like flax, hemp is one of the oldest cultivated plants of mankind. Until today the hemp plant is a valuable fibre-, protein- and oil supplier. The three hemp protein variants are produced by cold pressing of peeled hemp seeds. Then for the hemp protein with 70 and 80% further processing steps follow. The high protein content and a favourable amino acid spectrum are advantageous for a good conversion in the body. It also supplies health-promoting secondary plant substances. The residual oil content contains a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, such as the rare gamma-linolenic acid. This also makes the protein flour a very interesting, health-promoting ingredient. We can deliver all hemp protein varieties in organic and conventional quality.
