Strictly speaking, (organic) wheat germ is one of the waste products of flour production. In this process, they are dissolved from the wheat kernel. Nevertheless, they are one of the most nutritious components. They have a high protein content of about 30%, as well as fiber. They also contain abundant vitamins such as vitamin B, minerals, trace elements and amino acids.

Wheat germs are rich in nutrients. However, these are destroyed when heated, which is why they are often added to muesli, yogurt, smoothie or fruit salad.
