Description (organic) corn starch:
(Organic) corn starch is obtained from ground, washed and dried corn kernels. The corn starch gelatinizes in aqueous systems at a temperature of approx. 80°C to form a highly viscous paste. After cooling, this solidifies into a smooth, short-textured gel – the characteristic cornstarch pudding. Cornstarch is used to adjust viscosity, improve crumb structure, stabilize and adjust protein content.
Corn starch can be used for baking, fillings and sauces, confectionery and delicatessen preparation.
