Corn middlings flour is a by-product obtained during the production of corn flour or corn grits. It consists of the corn germ buds and the remains of the corn kernel husking process. Corn middlings flour has a high energy content in feed and also contains a crude fat value of around 10% due to the residual content of corn oil.

Corn middlings flour l is used as a straight feed, which is mainly used as a concentrate substitute for dairy cows. It is a flavor enhancer and an energy supplier of consistent starch.
