Description (organic) hemp flour:

Similar to flax, hemp is one of the oldest cultivated plants of mankind. Until today the hemp plant is a valuable fiber -, protein – and oil supplier. At the end of the 20th century, cotton made hemp irrelevant for the textile industry. It is only in recent years that hemp has experienced a small renaissance. The valuable ingredients and the health aspects are appreciated by many people. The high protein content and a good amino acid spectrum are beneficial for a good conversion in the body. (Organic) hemp flour is made from the ground full-fat hemp seed or from the hemp seed partially de-oiled by cold pressing. The partially deoiled flour is rich in protein. If hulled hemp seed is used for cold pressing, the ground press cake is even richer in protein. If the protein content exceeds 50%, it is referred to as hemp protein.

Hemp flour can be used in many ways in the kitchen. Thus, it can be used to make bread or pasta, as well as cereal additives. The high protein flour and protein are used for sports nutrition and low carb products.
