Description (organic) pea flour/grist:
The pea has been a cultivated plant for over 7,000 years, making it one of the oldest plants grown. Even back then, the pea was considered a source of livelihood along with other legumes and simple cereals. Today, the main cultivating countries are India, China, France and Canada. The pea has a high content of valuable vegetable proteins and a high content of dietary fiber. Likewise, it contains a lot of vitamin B, with a very low fat content. We can grind the (organic) peas in any technically possible grind – from granules to meal to the finest (organic) pea flour, everything is possible.
Pea flour can be used in many ways in the kitchen and is suitable as a substitute for wheat flour. In addition, it is used for protein enrichment of food.
