(Organic) barley fiber has a fiber content of up to 70%. It is produced from a side stream of beer production by a mechanical upcycling of barley brewersby. It can be offered in both organic and conventional quality. Barley fiber is rich in minerals such as calcium, iron, manganese, phosphorus and zinc. The vegetable fibers are an innovative, sustainable and regional product from DACH region.
The beige powder is used in a variety of ways. It is ideal for the production of meat alternatives. Barley fiber is also used in confectionery, baked goods, pasta, snacks and convenience products. It is also used for protein enrichment. By using gesture fiber, the NutriScore can be improved by means of fiber enrichment.
