Description (organic) rice protein isolalte
The first rice plant was domesticated in China as long as 9000 years ago. Southeast Asia is still the largest producer in the world today. The (organic) rice protein isolate is produced by leaching the gluten from the rice grain and has a content of over 80%. Rice protein is an easily digestible, vegetable alternative to milk protein. It contains high levels of essential amino acids, and is particularly suitable as a vegetable source of methionine.
(Organic) rice protein isolate is well suited as an ingredient for dietary foods. The protein is also increasingly used in the food sector in dietary supplements, low carb and sports products. In combination with pea protein, an optimal composition of amino acids can be achieved.
